COLLEGE STATION -- The Texas A&M Softball Double Play Club and the Aggie Softball team would like to say thanks to the students for their unbelievable support during the 2008 season by allowing the first 100 students showing a valid Texas A&M ID to get in free each day at the College Station Softball Regional.

“The students are such a huge reason why we have the best home field advantage in collegiate softball,” head coach Jo Evans stated. “By sponsoring this promotion we want to show them how much they mean to the team and how important they are in helping their Fightin’ Texas Aggie Softball team bring home the regional championship this weekend.”

For more information on the Double Play Club please contact Janie Elias at 979-845-1051.

The 4th-ranked Aggies open play Friday at 6:30 p.m. against Stephen F Austin. Three regional games will be played on Saturday with the championship game(s) scheduled for Sunday at noon.

Fans wishing to purchase tickets can do so by calling the Texas A&M Athletic Ticket Office at 1-888-99-AGGIE.
