Mutombo Wants To Play One More Year

HOUSTON -- Houston Rockets center Dikembe Mutombo still
isn't ready to retire. The 42-year-old player says he's "going to consider to keep playing basketball."

He says the next part will be to tell his lawyer, David Falk.

Mutombo told Houston Chronicle that his body and his mind are
responding to the thrill of the game.

He considered retiring last year and then decided to play one
more season.

During the season, Mutombo said he'd wait until the offseason to
discuss his options.

He says he talked to his wife and kids a lot this week -- and
especially his children want him to play one more year.

His return would depend on a contract agreement with the
Rockets.

Mutombo averaged three points and 5.1 rebounds per game.
