Cowboys Counting On Aging, Injured Glenn

By  |

IRVING -- Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wanted to add a receiver to help Terrell Owens and quarterback Tony Romo.

So far Jones has struck out this offseason.

Instead, the Cowboys are looking for a comeback from Terry
Glenn.

Glenn missed nearly all of last season because of two knee
operations. He wasn't on the field for voluntary organized team
activities this week.

But Jones says he had "a good long personal visit" with Glenn
on Monday.

Glenn turns 34 the day before players report to training camp.
Owens is 35.

Meanwhile:
-- Today was the third day of the Cowboys holding team
activities.

The club will continue going Tuesdays through Thursdays for
three more weeks, then the following Tuesday to Thursday will be a
minicamp.

Then Dallas will shut things down for five weeks until training
camp in Oxnard, California.
