TULSA, OK -- Texas A&M men’s tennis players Conor Pollock (San Antonio, Texas) and Austin Krajicek (Brandon, Fla.) are scheduled to take on top-seeded Somdev Devvarman and Treat Huey of Virginia in the Round of 16 at the 2008 NCAA Men’s Doubles Championship to be played today at approximately 4:30 p.m. (CT) at the Michael D Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla.
Morning rain showers postponed play an hour late with the original start time of the doubles match scheduled for 3:30 p.m. The winner will advance in a best of three sets scenario and will face either Drew Eberly and Justin Kronauge of Ohio State or Jean-Yves Aubone and Clint Bowles of Florida State in the quarterfinals set for Saturday, May 24 at a time to be announced. Pollock and Krajicek are currently ranked 20th nationally and have compiled a team-best 11-1 dual match record at No. 1 doubles.
