NAVASOTA -- Brandall Jackson has decided to stay close to home to continue his football career. This afternoon Navasota Head Coach Lee Fedora announced that B.J. has made an oral commitment to travel up highway 6 to wear the maroon and white of Texas A&M.
Jackson was a first team all district wide receiver last season for the Rattlers, pulling in 41 catches for 739 yards and nearly 10 touchdowns.
He is the second division one commitment from Navasota, joining Dexter Pratt who announced last spring he's going to LSU.
With at least two division one commitments, the Rattlers have been picked in the top 10 in several state football polls.
Hopefully Jackson, Pratt, and the rest of the Rattlers will give fans in Navasota something to cheer about all the way to Christmas.
