Two Former UT Football Players Admit To Robbery

AUSTIN -- Two former Texas football players pleaded guilty today in Austin -- to robbery.

Ex-safety Robert Joseph and former defensive tackle Andre Jones
pleaded guilty to one felony charge of robbery.

Each could get up to 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Probation is also an option.

Sentencing is July 14th.

Joseph was kicked off the team last year after his arrest on a
separate burglary charge in June.

He and Jones were arrested over a July 2007 home invasion that
also allegedly involved running back and safety James Henry.

Henry was indicted for knowingly destroying or concealing stolen
items.

Henry hasn't entered a plea but faces a July 18th court
appearance.

Henry and Jones were suspended last year.

UT athletic spokesman John Bianco says Jones won't be reinstated
because he pleaded guilty to a felony.
