NEW YORK CITY, NY -- Home run leaders Chase Utley and Grady Sizemore, and major league RBIs leader Josh Hamilton are among the players who'll be in the All-Star home run derby.
Lance Berkman and Dan Uggla also will be in the July 14th
contest at Yankee Stadium.
Utley entered today with a major league-leading 24 homers for
Philadelphia, and Sizemore topped the AL with 22 for Cleveland.
Hamilton has 19 homers and 84 RBIs for Texas, while Berkman has
22 homers for Houston and Uggla 23 for Florida.
Three players will be added to the event. Yankees first baseman
Jason Giambi said Sunday that if fans elect him to the final spot
on the AL roster, he would be willing to hit in the annual contest.
