MIAMI (AP) - Miami Dolphins quarterback Josh McCown has decided
to quit using chain saws.
A brush with a chain saw two weeks ago, at his home in
Jacksonville, Texas, left McCown, a former SHSU Bearkat QB, with a cut on the index finger of his throwing hand that required six stitches.
But agent Mike McCartney says McCown expects to be ready for the start of training camp next week -- and that his client has been
throwing a football and playing golf.
The accident occurred at McCown's home while he and his brother,
Tampa Bay quarterback Luke McCown, were cutting a tree stump.
