The Bryan Owls were defeated by the Oklahoma Reds yesterday in the semi-finals winner bracket game by a score of 7-6. That is the Owls first loss of the national tournament and will have to fight their way through the losers bracket. The Owls were led offensively by Chase Bledsoe going 2 for 3 with 2 RBI?s, Brandon Kveton going 3 for 3, and Chris Paddack with a 2-run home run. Aaron Mitchell also provided a solid pitching performance for the Owls.

The Bryan Owls bounced back and defeated the Georgetown Gladiators by a score of 12-10 and clinched a spot in the championship finals. The Owls were led by Chase Bledsoe who went 3 for 3 with a 2-run double, Brandon Kveton going 3 for 4 with 2 RBI?s, Aaron Mitchell with a solo-home run, and Brian VanEtta who hit the game-winning grand slam in the 5th inning. The Bryan Owls will now have to defeat the Oklahoma Reds twice to be crowned national champions, as they suffered their first loss to the Reds earlier in the tournament.
