SOUTH BEND, IN -- The National Football Foundation and College Hall Of Fame enshrined the 2008 class which included Mumford native John Randle.

The Hearne High School product was twice named the Lone Star Conference's lineman of the year while at Texas A&M Kingsville.

During his two seasons with the Javelinas, Randle recorded 34 sacks and earned All American honors in 1988 as A&M-Kingsville won a pair of Lone Star Conference Football Crowns.

Randle played 14 seasons in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks. He was a seven time pro bowler and recorded double digit sacks during 8 different seasons.
