OXNARD, CA -- Dallas Cowboys rookie cornerback Orlando Scandrick signed a four-year contract today, becoming the first of the team's draft picks to sign.
Scandrick is a fifth-round pick from Boise State. He got a
four-year deal worth about $1.85 million with a signing bonus of
There are five draft picks who have yet to sign. That include
both players the Cowboys drafted in the first round in April,
running back Felix Jones from Arkansas and cornerback Mike Jenkins
from South Florida.
But there was no real concern from the Cowboys, who routinely
don't sign their draft picks until around the start of camp.
The Cowboys have their first training camp practice Friday.
