Martellus Signs As The Cowboys Report For Camp

By  |

OXNARD, CA -- The Dallas Cowboys reported to training camp today and three more draft picks signed contracts.

Only veteran receiver Terry Glenn and the team's two first-round
draft choices remained unsigned.

Glenn has refused to sign an injury waiver that would reduce his
salary from $1.74 million to $500,000 if he hurts his right knee
again and is unable to play. The 34-year-old receiver wasn't
scheduled to be on the team's charter flight from Texas today.

The Cowboys also haven't come to terms with running back Felix
Jones from Arkansas or cornerback Mike Jenkins from South Florida.

Signing today were tight end Martellus Bennett, a second-round
pick from Texas A&M; running back Tashard Choice, a fourth-round
pick from Georgia Tech; and linebacker Erik Walden, a sixth-round
pick from Middle Tennessee State.

Cornerback Orlando Scandrick signed a four-year contract
yesterday.
