College Station -- Texas A&M Head Football Coach Mike Sherman had a chance to meet with fans Wednesday night as the Brazos County A&M Club held it's annual Coach’s Night at Reed Arena.
Sherman is preparing for his first season as the Head Football Coach at Texas A&M. He was an assistant coach for the Aggies serving on R.C. Slocum's staff as the offensive line coach from 1989 to 1993 and 1995 to 1996. Sherman was also the Texas A&M Offensive Coordinator in the spring 1997.
Sherman is scheduled to be on hand for three more Coach's Nights. The Ft. Worth/Tarrant County A&M Club event is scheduled for Thursday night. The Dallas A&M Club will hold their Coach's Night on Friday. The Houston A&M Club event is scheduled for Saturday.
The Aggies start practice for the upcoming season on Monday August 4.
