McDougald Back On Sideline In Iola

Iola -- The Iola Bulldogs will open the 2008 season August 29 against St. Joseph with a new head coach.

Roddy McDougald is back with the Bulldogs after spending a year away the field. McDouglad was Iola's defensive coordinator from 1993 to 2006 working for his brother Randy McDougald who was the Iola head football coach for 17 years. Roddy McDougald played high school football in Iola in the 1970's.

Roddy McDougald is replacing Rick Prater who resigned after one season as the Bulldogs' head coach.
