COLLEGE STATION - The summer grind is about to change for the Texas A&M football team.

The Texas Aggies went through a two hour workout on the Coolidge Practice Fields Wednesday morning. Junior running back Mike Goodson was back on the field after missing Tuesday's practice to attend to some personal business.

While the players were drilling on the practice field, crews were putting the lines and numbers on Kyle Field. Thursday, the team will run through its final scrimmage at the stadium.

After the single workout, quarterback Jerrod Johnson said, " We've had drastic progress, this whole process has been good for us, we've grown a lot and we're finally coming together as a team. We're still not there yet. We have a couple of weeks of preparation, but I think we'll be ready when it comes to Arkansas State."

The Ags host the Red Wolves August 30 at 6pm.
