The Texas A&M football team is a week away from the start of the 2008 season.

The new Aggie coaching staff has a little bit of everything. Head Coach Mike Sherman, Defensive Line Coach Buddy Wyatt and Tight Ends and Special Teams Coach Kirk Doll have all coached at Texas A&M before.

Quarterbacks Coach Tom Rossley, Running Backs Coach Randy Jordan, and Defensive Coordinator Joe Kines have all coached with other teams at Kyle Field.

Cornerbacks Coach Charles McMilliam played at Kyle Field when he was at Bryan High.

Nolan Cromwell and Jim Turner will make their Kyle Field debuts in the season opener against Arkansas State on August 30th.

Safeties Coach Van Malone is the only member of the coaching staff that was a part of the Texas A&M program last season. Malone feels the players are more focused heading into the 2008 season.

You can hear more from the Aggies about the upcoming season Thursday August 28 when KBTX presents "Aggie Football 2008; Past and Present Meet The Future." The shows begins at 6:30.
