The A&M Consolidated Tigers have hopes of making it back to the class 5A playoffs in 2008. The Tigers advanced to the post season last year after a posting a 5 - 1 district record.

Consol lost 30 lettermen off last year's team. The Tigers have 15 lettermen returning for this season.

A&M Consolidated will open the season Friday night on the road in Round Rock where they will face the McNeil Mustangs.
