COLLEGE STATION -- The Aggie football team went back to work today as they get ready for to tangle with the New Mexico Lobos this weekend in Albuquerque.
Like the Aggies, the Lobos are also coming off a loss and are hoping to avoid an 0-2 start.
One of the things that Head Coach Mike Sherman said kept the team from being more successful was the fact that they didn't "trust the call".
Sherman felt like at times on Saturday players were ad libbing, trying to make something happen, instead of just taking care of their responsibilities and allowing the play to work.
"We didn't finish some of the things we started out to do. We didn't trust the call," stated Sherman.
Kick off Saturday afternoon is set for 4 p.m. at University Stadium. The game will be televised on Versus (Sudden Link ch. 59)
