Either Texas A&M or New Mexico will even its record to 1-1 Saturday night after the two meet at University Stadium in Albuquerque.
The Aggies come into the game following a 18-14 loss to Arkansas State in its 2008 season opener, which was also the headcoaching debut for Mike Sherman at Texas A&M.
The Lobos dropped their season opener to TCU 26-3 in a game that was pretty even except for a four-minute time span that saw the Horned Frogs roll off 16 points.
This is just the second time that Texas A&M and New Mexico have met on the football field. The first was back in 1926 when the Aggies beat the Lobos in College Station 63-0.
News 3 Sports will be on the sidelines with the Aggies for their first road trip of the year and will have a complete recap of the game on Saturday's 10PM newscast.
The game will be nationally televised on “Versus” starting at 4PM Central Time.
