HOUSTON -- Businessman Ray Childress, one of the original 10
members of the Houston Texans limited partnership group, has sold
his minority interest in the team.
Childress told Houston television station KRIV through his
personal assistant, Annie Amante, he decided to invest in other
things.
Childress, owner of Ray Childress Auto Group, did not say how he
sold his percentage in the team or how much of it he owned.
He played for the Houston Oilers from 1985 to 1996 and was a
five-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle.
