Cypress, TX - The A&M Consolidated Tigers had a strong showing in the 1st half of their game against Cy Woods Saturday night, but that was about all the points they could muster.
Less than a minute into the game, Garrett Smith was on the receiving end of a long touchdown reception that put the A&M Consolidated up 7 - 0. Then in the 2nd quarter, Javon Kearse rumbled across the goal line to help put the visitors up by 17 heading into the half.
The Warriors of Cy Woods would not be deterred, though. They scored 28 unanswered points to leave the Tigers scratching their heads after their 0 - 2 start to the 2008 season.
