OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The No. 18-ranked Texas A&M women's golf team closed with a round of 314 on Monday and finished 12th at the Duramed NCAA Fall Preview at Caves Valley Golf Course.
No. 4 Arizona State won the 15-team event by eight strokes with an 872 total. A&M finished ahead of No. 7 Purdue (927), No. 11 Florida (928) and Georgetown (654).
Senior Lauren Johnson paced the Aggies with a 74-76-77=227 total, tying for 35th place. Junior Ashley Freeman tied for 39th (78-74-78=230), freshman Crystal Reeves tied for 47th (78-78-78=234), sophomore Sarah Zwartynski tied for 52nd (78-76-81=235) and senior Jodi Neal placed 68th (83-84-84=251).
