Thelen Extends Lead To 4 At Southern Texas PGA Professional Championship

BRYAN -- Traditions Club Teaching Pro Tim Thelen has extended his lead to four strokes entering the final round of the Southern Texas PGA
Professional Championship being held at the Miramont Country Club.

Thelen followed his first round 67 with a 3 under par 69 today to grab a 4 stroke lead over David Von Hoffman out of Austin and Miramont Professional Brad Lardon.

The top 10 golfers in the 2008 STPGA Professional Championship will advance to the 42nd PGA Professional National Championship at Twin Warriors Golf Club and Santa Ana Golf Club in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico on June 28-July1, 2009.
