Milano -- The Milano Eagles beat the Giddings State School 32 - 6 Thursday night at Pruett Field in Milano.
The Eagles scored first on a Mathew Jentsch seven yard touchdown run. The extra point was no good. Milano had a 6 - 0 lead after the first quarter.
John Paniagua intercepted a pass in the second quarter helping set up Milano's second touchdown. Jentsch raced in from 32 yards out following the turnover to give the Eagles a 12 - 0 lead.
Milano will close out the non-district portion of the schedule September 26 when they host St. Joseph at 7:30.
