BRYAN- Navasota got four first half touchdowns from Bayou Bengal-to-be Dexter Pratt as the Rattlers sank their fangs into Rudder, 58-3, Friday night at Merrill Green Stadium.
The Rangers put up stiff resistance early.
On the game's opening drive, Joshua Johnson hit Pratt low, the football came out, and Rudder's Kelvin Caldwell recovered the fumble for the home team.
The Rangers' points came on a 45 yard field goal by Will Johnson.
In addition to Pratt's first half scores, Jacolby Stokes fired a 46 yard touchdown strike to Texas A&M recruit Brandal Jackson.
Stokes also connected with Antron Harris for a second quarter touchdown.
Navasota improves to 3-&-0.
The Rattlers, ranked fifth in the state, host Sealy in a nondistrict showdown next week.
Rudder is at Caldwell Friday.
