Dez Bryant, of Oklahoma State is the Big 12 special teams player of the week.
The Lufkin product had a 78-yard punt return for a touchdown in the Cowboys’ win over Texas A&M.
It was the 11th-longest punt return in OSU history and was designated by ESPN’s SportsCenter as the play of the day.
He also had a 23-yard kickoff return.
Bryant is the nation’s fourth-leading punt returner and is one of two players (Brandon James of Florida) with two punt returns for scores this season.
Bryant had eight touches in the game for 216 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns, including three receiving scores.
