COLLEGE STATION- Homecoming proved to be a happy occasion Friday as A&M Consolidated celebrated a 39-to-22 win over Belton.
The Men in Maroon piled up 349 yards of offense as they improved their season record to 4-&-2 after an 0-&-2 start.
More importantly, they are 3-&-0 in District 12-5A.
Consol is tied with Copperas Cove for the top spot in the league.
Rachel Nixon was crowned A&M Consolidated Homecoming Queen during ceremonies at the half.
The Tigers visit Shoemaker Friday.
