COLLEGE STATION- Disappointed but not discouraged, that's how Texas A&M head football coach Mike Sherman described his mood after Saturday's 44-to-30 loss to Kansas State.
Sophomore quarterback Jerrod Johnson set school records for total offense (487) and passing yards (419). He also rushed 17 times for 68 yards, both career bests.
Ryan Tannehill set school freshman records for receptions (12) and receiving yards (210).
But, Tannehill admitted the team's patience is wearing a little thin.
The Ags are 2-&-4 for the year, 0-&-2 in Big 12 play.
They host Texas Tech Saturday at 11am.
