PEACH CREEK -- The Texas A&M defense will have its hands full, and then some on Saturday, when it lines up against Texas Tech on Saturday .

The red & black aerial attack comes to Aggieland averaging 413 yards per game which is the number one ranked passing offense in the land.

Texas A&M has struggled defending the pass this year. Miami, Oklahoma State and Kansas State have all thrown for over 200 yards against the Aggies.

Now controlling the clock and keeping Tech's offense off the field can be beneficial, but it's not always the answer according to A&M head football coach Mike Sherman.

“They are so explosive. I think time of possession can sometimes be a little deceiving. You can win time of possession, but if they’re scoring and you’re turning the ball over. We’ve won time of possession a couple of games by a number, and if they’re scoring, time of possession doesn’t mean whole lot. I think you have to score points."

The question then becomes. Can the Aggies score enough points?

A&M's high water mark this year is 30. Tech has surpassed that total in every game this season, and comes in ranked sixth in scoring offense, averaging 46 points per contest.
