Ready or not it's time for the annual Robertson County rumble.
Hearne versus Franklin always pits neighbor-against-neighbor but tonight's contest is also crucial to the Eagles' playoff hopes.
Hearne dropped a home game to Marlin a week ago while Franklin was running its district record to 2-0.
In the second quarter Franklin is up 14-6 when Kenneth Jones gets the handoff and goes 38 yards for the score. Making it 14 each.
Next Eagles possession Kenneth Varvel blocks the kick. Randal Rutledge comes away with it, which in turn sets up Scott Sanders to go in from 2 yards.
The Lions hold on to beat Hearne 31-22.
Next week Franklin takes on Marlin at home while Hearne has Teague at home.
