Auston English Will MIss Game Against Texas A&M

NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops says defensive end Auston English will be out for three weeks with a sprained knee.
English, the Big 12 preseason defensive player of the year, was
helped off the field in the third quarter of the Sooners' 62-28 win
over Nebraska on Saturday and did not return.
No. 6 Oklahoma (8-1, 4-1 Big 12) will visit Texas A&M this
Saturday. The Sooners then have an open week before hosting Texas
Tech on Nov. 22 and visiting Oklahoma State on Nov. 29.
English has 27 tackles, including nine for loss, and 4½ sacks
this season.
He missed time during the preseason after undergoing an
emergency appendectomy, and sat out three games last season because
of a hairline fracture in his right ankle.
Stoops says Frank Alexander likely will replace English in the
Sooners' lineup.
