The Texas A&M football team will face a big challenge this weekend when they host sixth ranked Oklahoma. The Sooners have the second highest scoring offense in the country averaging 49 points a game. Oklahoma is third in the nation in total offense averaging 538 yards a game.
One way the Aggies can stay in the game Saturday is to create some turnovers. Last Saturday the Texas A&M defense came up with three interceptions. Trent Hunter picked off two Colorado passes including one late in the fourth quarter to help seal the victory. Jordan Pugh intercepted a pass in the end zone in the first half to keep Colorado from putting points on the board. The two defensive back may argue on which interception was better but one thing everyone can agree on is all three turnovers were important.
Texas A&M and Oklahoma will kick-off at 2:30 Saturday afternoon at Kyle Field. Aggie Gameday will begin at 1:00 on News 3 and right here at KBTX.com
