McNair Says Kubiak Is The One To Turn Around Texans

By  |

HOUSTON -- Texans owner Bob McNair is confident in coach Gary Kubiak -- and the billionaire's goal for this season remains seeing his team in the playoffs for the first time.
McNair today said right now the Texans are still trying to make
the playoffs.
That goal is looking pretty unlikely for the Texans (3-6), who
are coming off a 41-13 loss to the Ravens and play Indianapolis on
Sunday.
Houston is in last place in the AFC South, but holds out hope
for a wild-card spot -- with some normally strong teams posting
mediocre records so far.
The Texans were 8-8 last year.
Sunday's defeat, in which Sage Rosenfels threw four
interceptions, had some fans thinking Kubiak should be fired.
But McNair believes Kubiak is the one to turn around his team.
