COLLEGE STATION -- The A&M Consolidated girls basketball team hosted Lufkin in its home opener Tuesday night. The Tigers trailed by 2 at the break, but could only muster 3 points in the third quarter and were outscored by the Panthers 18-3.
The 15 point difference was too much to make up in the fourth quarter. Rachael Carter led Consol with 13 points, but the Lady Tigers lose it 56-46.
A&M Consolidated will hit the road for the Allen High School tournament starting Thursday.
