SAN MARCOS- The Brownwood volleyball team has bested Bellville at the Class 3A state tourney at Texas State's Strahan Coliseum.

The Lady Lions pick up a 25-23, 23-25, 25-20, 25-20 win over the Brahmanettes in the semifinals.

Bellville ends its season at 37-&-8.

Brownwood is 33-&-9.

The Lady Lions advance to play Lovejoy in the state title game Saturday at one p.m.
