SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas -- Bryan Davis had 15 points and
13 rebounds, and Josh Carter sank a big 3-pointer for Texas A&M in
a 77-71 win over Kent State at the South Padre Invitational on
B.J. Holmes added 15 points for the Aggies (5-1), who were
coming off their first loss Friday to Tulsa. Carter's 3-pointer
with 35 seconds left pushed Texas A&M's lead to five.
Al Fisher scored 17 of his 24 points for Kent State (3-2) in the
Texas A&M outrebounded Kent State 35-19.
