ANDERSON- Anderson-Shiro turned a close game into a runaway in the second half as it defeated the Woodlands Christian, 43-24, Thursday afternoon at the Lady Owls' holiday tournament.
Misha Henderson came up with a steal at the midcourt stripe and converted that in to a layup as the home team took a 29-to-20 lead with 7:11 to go in the game.
Henderson totaled 14 points.
Taylor Sicola was fouled on a drive to the bucket, she turned that into a three-point play, pushing the margin to 36-to-20 at the 5:13 mark.
Sicola tossed in 15 points.
The Lady Owls improved to 5-&-1 for the season.
