IRVING -- It was a holly-jolly T.O. who faced reporters at the Dallas Cowboys' workout facility today.
Terrell Owens was in the holiday spirit today, sporting a
flashing red nose. He described his mood as "jolly," dismissing
his sideline outburst after the late collapse in Pittsburgh, and
saying the team remains confident about its playoff hopes.
The Cowboys receiver says he and his teammates feel no pressure. In his words, "We know we can win."
Despite the loss to the Steelers, 8-5 Dallas is in position for
a wild-card spot. But the Cowboys are still vulnerable with three
difficult games left. They play Sunday night against the New York
Giants, who already have clinched the NFC East title. Then, they
play Baltimore and Philadelphia.
The Giants were a wild-card team last year, sweeping through the
playoffs for a Super Bowl title after a tough loss to the New
England Patriots in the regular-season finale.
The Cowboys are hoping for a similar rebound after the tough
loss in Pittsburgh.
