COLLEGE STATION -- The A&M Consolidated boys basketball team rebounded from a four game losing streak on Monday night with a 62-55 win over Mexia at Tiger Gym.
Tyler Hatch and Kevin Jefferson led the Tigers with 17 points each while the Blackcats D.J. Weathers led all scorers with 26 points.
Weathers hit a three pointer in the fourth quarter to cut Consol's lead to 6 points with under two minutes to play, but Hatch knocked down a three for the home team to give the Tigers some breathing room.
The Tigers will be back on the court on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. when they travel over to Spring to take on the Lions.
