Aggies Look For Better Start Against LSU

The Texas A&M basketball team will travel to Houston Saturday to face LSU at the Toyota Center.

The Aggies will take a five game winning streak into the contest after Wednesday night's 66 - 56 win over SMU. Josh Carter led the Aggies in scoring with 14 points. B.J. Holmes and Derrick Roland added 10 points each. Eight different players scored in the game but head coach Mark Turgeon is still looking for more from his team. Following the game against SMU Turgeon said "Our offense is really struggling but I'm going to chalk it up to fatigue. I don't know why we are not starting well. I don't know what to do about it. It seems that everything we try to fix isn't showing up in games." Turgeon is also looking for his team to make more shots.

Texas A&M and LSU are set for a 4:00 start Saturday afternoon in Houston. The Aggies return home to Reed Arena December 28 to take take on Sam Houston State at 7:00.
