Guy Morriss Returns To Texas To Coach A&M Commerce Lions
University of Texas A&M - Commerce has hired Guy Morriss to take over the Lions football program. The former Baylor Head Coach was officially introduced at a news conference this afternoon.

COMMERCE -- University of Texas A&M - Commerce has hired Guy Morriss to take over the Lions football program.
Morriss was introduced at a news conference this afternoon.
Morriss was the head coach at Baylor for 5 seasons before stepping down in 2007 following a 18 and 40 record with the Bears.
This past season, the former NFL offensive lineman was an assistant coach at Kentucky State University.
Morriss replaces former Texas Aggie assistant coach Scotty Conley who was fired after a 5-5 campaign in 2008.
Texas A&M Commerce is a Division II school that plays in the Lone Star Conference. The Lions went 5-5 in 2008.
