INDIANAPOLIS- It was a busy day for football players with Brazos Valley ties at the NFL Scouting combine Sunday.
Running back Mike Goodson, from Texas A&M, ran the 40-yard dash in 4.54 seconds, seventh best among the running backs.
RB Bernard Scott, the Blinn product who finished his college career at Abilene Christian, was clocked in 4.56 seconds, leaving him eighth.
Aggie quarterback Stephen McGee ran a 4.66 40-yard dash, second among quarterbacks to West Virginia's Pat White who ran a 4.55.
Sam Houston State QB Rhett Bomar checked in with a 4.82.
A&M punter Justin Brantly worked out with the specialists Saturday.
Aggie defensive lineman Michael Bennett hits the artificial turf Monday.
