Simpler Offense Proves Benefical For Aggie Men

COLLEGE STATION -- The Texas Aggie men's basketball team has won four in a row and Wednesday night in Boulder, Colorado, will try to equal last year's longest Big 12 winning streak of 5.

The Aggies latest victim was Iowa State last Saturday afternoon 87-69.

Josh Carter had a career day with 29 points including 7 - three pointers. Junior Elonu added 16 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.

Monday afternoon during Head Coach Mark Turgeon's weekly press conference he said the key to the team's turn around has been making the offense simpler.

"We seem to be executing better," said Turgeon. "By simplifying (the offense) and running fewer things, I think we're easier to scout, but we're doing the things we do better," ended Turgeon.

Texas A&M has won five in a row over Colorado and will tip things off at 8 pm on Wednesday night.

The game will be televised by ESPN-U.
