A&M’s Krajicek/Pollock Climb to No. 6 in ITA Ranking

COLLEGE STATION -- Texas A&M’s All-America doubles tandem of senior Conor Pollock and sophomore Austin Krajicek climbed to No. 6 in the most recent edition of the Campbell/ITA College Tennis Rankings on Tuesday.

Pollock and Krajicek, who reached the semifinals at the NCAA Championships last spring, have compiled a 14-5 overall record this year, including a 6-1 dual match record at No. 1 doubles. It’s the highest ranking for the duo since the preseason edition.

Sophomore Wil Spencer jumped 13 spots to No. 22 in the singles rankings. Joining Spencer in the singles rankings are Pollock at No. 24 and Krajicek at No. 107.

The No. 36-ranked Texas A&M men’s tennis team returns to action on Friday, March 6 when the Aggies take on No. 27 Boise State at 2 p.m. (CT) in Boise, Idaho.
