LUBBOCK -- Baylor coach Kim Mulkey has been released from the hospital where she went after having a reaction to medication she was taking following the removal of a kidney stone last week.
Mulkey left University Medical Center midday Monday and went to
practice with her second-seeded Bears.
Monday evening it was announced that Mulkey will coach in Tuesday night's second-round NCAA game, which pits Baylor (28-5) and No. 7 seed South Dakota State.
She missed the Bears' 87-82 victory over Texas-San Antonio on
Mulkey attended a news conference Monday afternoon.
She was taken to the hospital Sunday morning, two days after
having a kidney stone removed in Waco.
