Texas Hardballers Win In Stillwater

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Russell Moldenhauer hit a two-run
single in a three-run seventh inning to help Texas pull away for an
8-5 win over Oklahoma State in a Big 12 Conference baseball game
Sunday.
The Longhorns (20-8, 6-6 Big 12) were leading 5-4 when Cameron
Rupp's score on an error sparked the rally. Moldenhauer singled to
left field, widening the advantage to 8-4.
Rafael Thomas scored on a balk for Oklahoma State (21-10, 4-5)
in the bottom of the inning, but the Cowboys couldn't score in the
ninth.
Rupp, Cameron Rowe, Travis Tucker and Brandon Loy contributed
one RBI each for Texas.
Neil Medchill and Michael Dabbs had two RBIs apiece for Oklahoma
State.
Andrew McKirahan (1-0)allowed two hits and one run in two
innings of relief for Texas. Austin Wood picked up his sixth save.
Tyler Lyons (4-3) allowed 11 hits and eight runs in 6 2-3
innings for the Cowboys.
