4th Ranked Centerville Advances To Region 3 Tournament Finals Following Double Overtime Win Against Central Heights

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Centerville Lady Tiger basketball team has advanced to the Class 2A Region III tournament championship game after a 58-50 double overtime win over Central Heights.

Centerville trailed Heights 25-20 at the half, but rallied to tie the game at 34 after 3 quarters, and eventually pull out the win in double overtime 58-50.

Centerville is now just a win away from advancing to the State Tournament next week in Austin. Centerville will take on Crawford in the Regional Final Saturday at noon at Johnson Coliseum on the Stephen F. Austin State University campus.

Crawford got past Crockett 48-46 Friday to move on to face the Lady Tigers.
