Irving -- Texas A&M head football coach Mike Sherman, quarterback Jerrod Johnson, defensive back Trent Hunter and offensive lineman Lucas Patterson represented the Aggie football program Monday at Big 12 football Media Days in Irving.

Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, and Iowa State were the four teams that met the with the media on the opening day.

One question asked of Hunter was about the Aggie defense. Hunter told KBTX sports "Of course no one is going to come out and say we're worse than we were last year. We worked hard over the spring and summer. Coach Kennedy had us in the wight room and on the field running. from what I've seen we're looking a lot better"
