AUSTIN -- Heidi Ramaekers set a state tournament record with
seven three-pointers to lead perennial small-school power Nazareth
to a 51-to-30 win over Calvert in the Class 1-A Division Two
semifinals.

Ramaekers finished with 28 points, including seven-of-eleven
shooting from three-point range.

She broke the tournament record of six three-pointers in all
classes set by six players.

Nazareth (30-and-5) moves on to tomorrow's Division II final,
where the Swiftettes will play for a national record 18th state
championship in their 22nd tournament appearance.

Daronisha Wallace scored eleven to lead Calvert (27-and-3) in
its first state tournament.
