OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- The top-seeded Texas A&M women's basketball team (23-5) will take on No. 8-seeded Colorado (13-16) in the quarterfinals of the 2007 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship on Wednesday, March 7 at noon at the Cox Convention Center.
The Buffaloes edged No. 9-seeded Texas Tech (17-14) in first round tournament action, 71-67. Colorado leads 10-4 in the all-time series with A&M, but have lost the last three-straight meetings between the two schools. Both teams will be meeting for the first time in postseason league tournament play.
Pump Up The Volume...Fans are encouraged to join other A&M fans to send-off the Aggie women an hour and 30 minutes prior to tipoff of each tournament game outside of the lobby of the Sheraton, the team's host hotel in downtown Oklahoma City.
